He has a great sense of humour and we both throughly recommend using this tour as an alternative way to explore the Island. The tobogganing is 100% worth it and will set you back 35 euros for 2 people for the ride. I advise booking this tour early to avoid the queues. We booked 9:30am, this was only a 10 minute wait at the top. Stopped off in the farmers market on the way down and by the santa maria church for some photos. Give it a go, it's fun…”

It was a rainy day in Funchal; she we out of her way to call the toboggan company to make sure they wait for us (just in case they shut down due to the weather). She was very patient with us and she showed us all around old city Funchal before dropping us back at the hotel. She showed us all her favorite places to eat and where to get traditional Madeiran souvenirs. My wife and I had an amazing time. 100% recommend.”
